It’s been a long time since “Game of Thrones” season two ended back in June. HBO has slowly begun rolling out promotional material reminding us that the wait to return to Westeros is nearly over.
A couple of weeks back, they announced the premiere date using the above image. Now, tonight they have released a promotional video that reveals some behind-the-scenes looks at the locations, and sets, as well as some of the new members to the large (and exceptional) ensemble cast.
The highly anticipated third season of the series is adapted from the third novel in the book series A Song of Ice and Fire, entitled “A Storm of Swords”. The third season is reported to only include the first half of the book, the second half being used if the show is picked up for a fourth season.
