Casting is underway for CW’s new potential show based on Wonder Woman entitled Amazon. This will be a teenage version of Wonder Woman before she takes on her heroic identity more akin to Smallville than Arrow. Two negatives are glaringly obvious: 1. Wonder Woman is named Iris. (What, Iris? Really? What is wrong with Diana?) and 2. She’s not Wonder Woman (I mean why can’t it be more like Arrow and just have her be Wonder Woman? There’s only so much mileage you can get out of a non-costumed crime fighter. We can even have flashbacks…
